Sandra Westerhaut opened the meeting by reading a, poem and the roll call was answered by a pliant exchange. A letter from the Red Cross was received thanking' the club for their donation. Money was sent to the Clinton Hospital Auxiliary, the Family and Children's Services of Huron County and the Bunny Bundle The buying committee were asked to purchase a trophy for the Grade 8 student of Hullett Central School who was most proficient in English. An invitation y from the Londesboro W .I. was received for the club to attend their September meeting. It was decided to 'cancel our own meeting and accept the invitation for September 10. Volunteers to . canvass the immediate area for the Flowersof Hope campaign were Jean Vodden, Ruth Jenkins, Margaret 'Wright and Phyllis Tyndall. Sharon Ellis will cut the gross around the hall for the summer: Olive Neal, Jean Vodden and Hazel Watkins agreed to act•as nominating committee for the new slate of of- ficers The June llth meeting will be held at Vera Gibbings home and lunch committee is Jo ,Anne Salverda, Isabel St'bwar( and Donna Tyndall.
