But at a dog obedience course 'in Clinton, dogs are developing their manners and masters are learning the proper commands. Here under the watchful eye of other. students, instructor Joe Lobb of Brucefield shows one of the canine pupil how to sit. The 10 week Obedience course is being sponsored by the Bluewater Kennel Club the students have until early June to learn their stuff before graduation ceremonies take place. All these manoeuvres are taking place each Tuesday evening in the Clinton arena where Joe and Janet Lobb are conducting Dog Obedience Classes sponsored by the Bluewater Kennel Club. The 24 dogs and their owners are divided into two classes, one from 7:30 to --8:30 and the other following until 9:30 p.m. Known as _._a Novice_A, course it comprises the basics -of dog obedience and, if successful in passing its finals, the graduating canine can then go on to further fields of glory at licensed obedience trials held in. conjunction with Canadian Kennel Club dog shows.
