The Task Force, which
has been formed to obtain
grassroots' participation
in the preparation of a
Liberal labour policy
paper, received briefs
from a wide range of
organizations including
_the Ontario Federation of
Labour, the Canadian
Manufacturers
Association, the Ontario
Public Service
Employees Union, the
Ontario Mining
Association; Professor

Director of the Labour
Studies Program at

While there was a
considerable variation in
the opinions expressed by
the different groups, the

were necessary amen-
dments to the Labour
Relations Act, the
question of union security
and union responsibility,
management rights and
responsibilities and
concerns about good faith
bargaining. •
