Nurses Association (RNAO) met last week irE Goderich .with a good attendance from across the county. Preparations were made for the annual meeting of the RNA() in Toronto on May l st to 3rd. Representing the Chapter as president will be Anne Bean of Champion Road Machinery Co. and Dawn Murray of the Exeter Oeneral Hospital as voting delegate. In introducing Dr. David Walker, Joan Hibbert °spoke of the great respect in which he is heid by his fellow ob- stetricians. Margaret Thorndike was the auctioneer and each person took a prize. Gladys Hoggart got the special prize. Margaret Murray and Margaret Mitchell will be in charge of the Dutch auction at the June meeting. Mrs. L. Leppington opened the May meeting and Edna Adams gave they treasurer'a-report i -- Lampman gave •the secretary's report and Irene Glazier reported on the flowers. The June picnic was discussed and plans will be finalized at the next meeting. The mystery prize was won by Mrs. Leppington and poems were read by Mrs. Adams and Margaret Moodie. More break ins The. Clinton Police reported that Morden and Helwig on Albert Street was broken into on May 5 and a bottle of red ink was stolen. Police Chief Lloyd Westlake said that a group of juveniles who being held responsible -for - 11 other recent break-ins to other Clinton-: businesses are suspected.. Another break-in was added to the growing list of incidents in Bayfield. The Goderich OPP reported that the Nip and Tuck ,Variety Store on Highway 21 was' broken into sometime between May 2 and 3. A small amount of cash was C stolen and the incident is still under investigation. Margaret Hagerty, 21, of Dorchester received 'minor injuries following ap . April 30 single car crash. The Goderich OPP reported that the Hagerty vehicle was travelling north on Highway 4, south of Blyth When she lost control of the car on a curve, skidded across the.
