The fire, which nearly gutted the home rented ,by Joan and. Tom Burley fivm Cale Doucette, was not caused by the per- manent wiring in the walls of the house, ac- cording to the inspectien department of the Clinton office .of Ontario Hydro, who inspected the home after the fire. The fire could have possibly been started by a faulty appliance, but an Ontario Hydro inspector said, "that's only speculation." The house has since been torn down.
