Scott, Jamieson, Ruthann Penfound and Nick Whyte serve the wine, and the bread was served by Carol Cartwright, Harry Snell, Robert Hunking and Garnet Wright. Following the service, a reception line was formed in the hall to greet and welcome the new church members. Addie Hunking read the •scripture and Mrs. Davidson gave an Easter meditation. Florence Cartwright and Mrs: Davidson both gave • readings and the minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Joan Whyte and the treasurer's report was g'i7Ven-by Margaret' Good. Correspondence in- cluded a school report from the group's foster child and thank -you notes were 'received from _Marian (Snell) Langmaid, Allen Shaddick, Clare Vincent and'Ted Hunking. The group declined an invitation to attend the Blyth UCW meeting on March 30 because of a previous committment and agreed td attend the Walton UCW meeting on April 13 and a special crusade will be held • .Blyth Memorial Hall on April 27 to May 4. The Daffodil Tea was held at the Ontario Street Church in Clinton on March 28 and proceeds were to go to the Cancer Society. Mrs. Whyte and Mrs. Davidson helped to serve at the event. On April 16, Mary's Sewing Centre in Clinton will be sponsoring a fashion show at CHSS at 1 to 2_pm and from 7 to 8 pm. The Exeter fashion show is set for April 29 at 8:30 pm Mrs. Cartwright reported that a ham supper will be held- on May 21 and the ladies were asked to keep in mind the Westminister Weekend in May and the Alma College weekend in St. Thomas in August. Huliett Central happenings Volleyball During March at noon hours the grade 7 .and 8 classes have been playing house league volleyball. The referees were from the grade 8 class. .
