You can keep all the

photographic coverage of
the entire day. ,
With, all the monthsof
preparation and thought
that go into the making of
a successful wedding, it.
always seems a shame to
_rave e day end so soop.
But a professional
photographer can cap-
ture on film all `those
moments of hectic last-
minute preparation, .the
emotion of the ceremony
.and the fun of the
reception. And the
photographs he or she
makes are ones everyone
newlyweds, parents,
relatives, close friends —
can cherish for years.
It's never too early to
plan for the best possible
photographic coverage of
your wedding. After , he
pops the question--= even •
before . you book the
church or catering hall —
start looking for the
photographer who can do
the best job for you.
If you plan to marry
during one of the peak
periods =. Tune, July,
August or December
you may . find the
photographer already
booked for many wed-
• dings.
-If you already have a
favorite family
photographer — one
who's pictured' you as a
baby through the
childhood years - he or
she may be the natural
choice for your
engagement and wedding
pictures. If not,- check
-your friends who've
recently married and ask
their opinions about the
photographers they've
used. Then do a little
"window-shopping" at
local studios.
Once you've selected a
photographer and booked
yo r wedding date, sit

photographic needs. The
staff will be able to
counsel yoti about
makeup, settings, moods
and styles for the prints.
With today's sensitive
film • and lighting
technology, there's no
need to exaggerate your
appearance for the
camera. If you normally
wear glasses, and plan to
do so when you come
down the aisle, then talk
to your photographer and
the stylist about wearing
them in your formal pre -
wedding portrait.
Many photographers
arrange to have the
formal bride portrait
made at the store when
you are having your final
fitting for your gown.
Others prefer to make the
portrait in the studio
where lights, props and
equipment are on hand.
More and more
photograph'e'rs are
making "Mood bridal
portraits" -- views of the
bride outdoors or even in
the 'church. Discuss all
these possibilities with
your photographer before ,,
you make a decision.
Plan ahead for how
much coverage you
would like on the wedding
day. The photographer
can come early enough to
take some candid views
of you and your at-
tendants at your house, or
you with final "good-
byes" to your parents.
And, the photographer
certainly can make plans
with the clergyman for
photographs before and
after the ceremony —
capturing all the precious
moments or re-creating
those ,that are too sacred
to picture as they happen.
