gift from the groom on
their wedding day.
Remember flowers for
the men in the wedding
party too. Traditionally,
the groom sports a sprig
of stephanotis but the

wearing a flower from
the bride's bouquet. The
florist may even wire a
special flower into the
bouquet for the bride to
remove and slip into his
lapelwhile at the altar.
Ushers have
customarily worn white
carnations as white is the
usual color specified for
formal weddings.
However, with a variety
of colors showing up
more and more in men's
formal attire, it is
common for their flowers
to match. those carried by
the bridesmaids.'
In the last three or four
years, many brides have
opted for using silk
flowers either in bouquets
only or for all the floral
arrangements.

flowers have become
popular in his shop within
the last two years but

winter months, is the
"Snowball Wedding," in
which the bride and all
her attendants are
dressed in white.
The male attendants
and groom can wear all
white, or they can wear
white tie and black tails
for a formal evening
affair, gray cutaways
during the day.
Pastel flowers
traditionally add a touch
of color ... beautifully!
near the major holidays
such as Valentine's Day,
Easter, Thanskgiving or
Christmas. These are
busy times in the flower
business so it's quite
possible that a wedding
would not fit into the
schedule. Weddings
require a great deal of
time and planning and no
one would be satisfied
with a rush job.
When ordering flowers,
don't forget to order
corsages for your mother
and the groom's mother
and even the grand-
mothers if you desire.
You might also want to
order boutonnieres for
the fathers and . grand-
fathers and even the
master of ceremonies.
And you could consider
ordering table
arrangements -- for- the
reception.
As for expense, it is
thankfully not necessary
to spend a fortune to have
plenty of beautiful.

used as it does from the
