Scouts There will will be no Scouts on April 7th for Easter Monday. Scouts this week was a night of games mostly due to the fact that only six boys showed up. I guess they thought that - since they had a holiday from school 'They had a holiday from Scouts too. Cubs This week at Cubs our attendance was a little slack due to the March break we only had six boys out. But we had a lot of fun anyway. We played last 'man across and Simon says. The leaders also participated in this and it was proven that we weren't much better at following instructions than the boys are. We practised a new jingle opening and 'in- troduced a new action song the "Muffin man". This was enjoyed by all: - Plans are being made for our parents' night on March 31st. We urge the parents ta. attend as the boys -are really looking forward to showing you how they spend their hour and a half. Come on guys. we are running behind and we have to catch up to Paul Handy, he is going like a house on fire. Colin Thomas was made sixer of the blue six and Greg Shea was made seconder. Our mistakes A mix-up occured in several identification lines in last week's edition under pictures of the Clinton Figure Skating club's ice car- nival. On the front page, the youngsters pictured were the koala bears, not the pigeons, and included Mark Livermore, Kristen Crwford, Nancy Lobb, ' Mark King, Shane MacDonald, Susan Kirton, Dale Marsh, Nicole Garon, Karin Dykstra, Paul . Hil and Julie Cook. A picture on page 21 should have. been iden- tified as the club's senior soloists, Brenda and Margaret ' Dupee and Peggy Jones not the number baby face. The News -Record apologizes for any in- convenience this may - have caused. A story in last week's editon on the the closing of Central Huron Secondary School last week,.written by Michelle Corbett, was researched by Phil Cornish and Greg Proctor. Mr. and Mrs. George Hanley of Clinton celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Bavarian Inn in London. They are also the grandparents of fiire grandchildren and four great grandchildren, not. as reported in last week's News -Record. The News -Record apologizes for these errors and any in- conveniences they may have caused.
