The World Day of
Prayer Was held in St.
Andrew's United Church,
Bayfield on Friday,
March 7 with Mrs. Betty
Burch presiding. Mrs.
.Molly Cox was at the
organ and soloist was
Mrs. Jean Milne. Mrs.
Shiel, wife of the pastor of
the Baptist Church, was
the guest speaker and
gave a very, interesting
talk on Freedom and how
-we;were in church -and we
were free to do so and not
like other countries.

UCW held their St.
P.atrick's meeting March
10. Mrs. Berry and Mrs.
John Broadfoot opened
devotions.
A reading was given by
Mrs. Broadfoot and Mrs.
Berry closed with prayer.
Mrs. McCartney presided
over the meeting and
read a poem, •and Mrs.
Stoll read the.minutes. 13
members answered' the
roll call with an Irish joke
or song.
Mrs. Berry gave the
treasurer's . report. The
April 14th meeting will
include a supper for the
1979 pEnny winners
catered by the losers.
Members are asked to
bring articles. for a flea
market.
The meeting closed and
a dutch auction was held,
with a St: Patrick's lunch
served by the committee.

area. You will be called
on sometime in the next
couple of weeks.
The meeting ended
with a social time over a
delicious lunch served by
the Goshen ladies.
