Mrs. Drummond had a

Mrs. John Cooper are
holidaying in Arizona.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert J.
McGregor have returned
from -- a pleasant tour of
the South Pacific.
Mr. and Mrs. John D.
Moore and family visited
relatives in the area last
Sunday.

The first meeting of
Kippen 4-H III club was
held at Brucef iel d church
on Monday, February 18.
The election of officers
was held. -They -are as -
follows : president, Julie
Townsend; vice-
president, Janet Kerr;
press reporter, Cathy
Mustard; telephone girls,
Angie Kassies and Becky
Rathwell. We decided to
have a floating secretary.
Then`- we talked about
our bedroom and the
books were handed out.
Mrs. Wilson went over
the requirements of a
member. Mrs. Gibson
told,.,us,about the history
of macrame. Then we
learned some macrame
stitches and later
received the yarn for our
projects.
Julie adjourned the
meeting at 9:30 p.m. Next
meeting is to be held on
March 10 at the home of
Mrs. Wilson.

The executive of the
Clinton Figure Skdting
Club met on Wednesday,
February 20 and plans for
the Carnival on March 7
are advancing very well.
On Tlursday, March 28
the club is hosting -the
second half of the
seminar for skaters who
have passed first figures
and the club expects quite
a number of skaters.
- Good luck to all the
skaters who are going to
Stratford , on Sunday,
March 2 for the Interclub
Competition.
Don't forget skaters to
be sure and get your
skates all shined up for
the carnival and be sure
to bring along, your
guards, as the .cement is
pretty hard on the sharp
blades.
