Scott for induction to the elders The choir, led by Barbara Bosman and with Louise McGregor as the organist sang a special ,number,with Mrs. Bosman and Marjorie Duizer singing the duet part. Village notes The Explorers ninth expedition was held on February 7. The_meeting - opened with the Explorer purpose and Happy Birthday was sung for two girls. Shuffleboard was held on February 6 -and the high • scorers included Helen Lawson and Geroge Hoggart. The winning couple in the play-offs were Ruth Vincent and Mr. Hoggart. The next match will be held on February' 20, beginning at 8 pm. The Women's Institute will hold a card party on February 15, starting at 8:30 prn. Everyone is welcome. Roll call was answered. by describing a piece of macrame each member had seen. The name and the title page was chosen as "The Daring Decorators". Each girl made a list of her assets and liabilities and filled in a chart with her likes and dislikes. Then, just for fun the girls . found their color signs, Leaders Mrs. Hildebrand and Mrs. Cartwright showed the girls the wrapping knot, the lark's head knot and the square knot.
