A pot -luck dinner
started the new year off
,for the S.S. No. '4 Com-
munity . Club when the -
January meeting was
held at the home of Alison
Lobb.
President Madeline
Bartlett opened the
meeting with the creed
'and the Lord's prayer.
Roll . call was answered
by 15 members and two
visitors with "My New
Year's Resolution for
1984". Secretary Roba
Lobb and tregsurer Linda
Jones readtheir reports,.__
followed by their Annual
Reports.
The February meeting
will be held at the home of
Phyllis Thompson, in- .
stead of at Verna Lobb's
as planned. There will be
a quilt, and the members
also decided to have their
annual bake sale at this
meeting.
Some discussion
followed of how to spend
the t -shirt money
received to date. We were
also told that the price of
t -shirts would be higher
on future orders.
The 'meeting closed
with the Benediction and
the rest. of the afternoon
was spent learning how to '
do macrame. This
completes the gardehing
course .but anyone having
troublemay bring their
work to the next meeting
for help.
