It seems the curling
club is a rather busy
place as of late. There
was 'a fun night •last
Saturday .evening and by
the comments one heard
on Sunday afternoon, it
was a fun night. ,
The, overall winners
were the team of Doug
Rowcliffe,' Sharon
-Wilson, Bill Fleming and
Barb Jarmuth. I un-
derstand they were
rather -.happy with their_.
win 14-3 over Mr. C',s
team., Skip . Doug.
Rowcliffe thanked the
capable special- events
committee of Steve and
Roxanne Brown, .. and
John and Isgbel Moore,
for a job well-done: It was
also reported' that the
'sunrise Sunday morning
was a beautiful sight.
Sunday, the Seagram
'Mixed . Playoffs for
Division 13 were com-
pleted with the Goderich
rink declared winners
over the Wiarton club.
Seaforth isn't the only
busy club, as curlers
from here sure are
travelling to other clubs
to participate in events.

for the Huron police
communication system
appears to be going
ahead without any input
from local officials.
While the 1980 budget
for the system has not yet
been -approved,' council
felt that the five
municipalities supporting
the system should be
consulted before the
budget is passed.
