I am disap.ppinted, myself, when it is late now, I must admit. After my parents passed away, my husband gave me the Clinton News Record as a birthday gift, I attended Clinton Collegiate Institute from 1927 - 1932 so have many fond memories of the area.. I will call in at your office sometime and perhaps I may look at the local newspaper of early April 1880 -it would be.the Clinton New Era, I believe. The February meeting of the Commission is being held a week early, on February 20 at 8:30 p.m. to set a date and plan the program for this event. Please note on your calendars that a spring recreation dance will be held at tbbe Community Centre in Hensall on April '12 with music by Country. Tickets_ will _be $12 per couple. Mildred McAsh is the new secretary of the' recreation commission. She succeeds Shirley Hill, who has done an excellent job for the past two years.
