• 3% cup vinegar
3/4 cup water
1 Tbsp. dry'mustard.

Combine meats, bread
crumbs, milk, eggs and
-salt. Mix thoroughly.
Shape into 1' balls and
place in shallow baking
dish. Mix ingredients for
sauce together and pour
over meatballs. Bake
uncovered for 40 min. at
325 degrees. B aste often
with sauce. Yields ap-
prox. 48 meatballs.
Prince of
Wales Cake
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/ tsp. salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. Soda - add to but-
termilk
Boil about five minutes:
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup white sugar..
1/2 cup water
Add raisin mixture to
batter and bake at 350
degrees for 25-30 min. Put
.together with date filling..
Ice with butter icing and
put a few raisins on top.

the Vanastra Recreation
Centre from 8:30 p.m. to
l2 a.m. Admission is $2.
per person and music will
be records and tapes. '

hold its business meeting
on January 24th in the
Vanastra Rec Centre at 7
p.m.

Scouts
On Monday January
14th, the Scout troop was
given a written test on the
exploring badge, which
theyhave_been-working_
on since November. All
boys 'passed with flying
colours„
Now the troop must
plan and. . take part in
three, one -day hikes:: to
finish the qualifications
for the badge.
Next week, the. troop
will start working on
their arrowhead badge.
Congratulations boys on
your hard work.
