Mr. Wright stressed
that the full benefit will
be available to families
whose income during 1979
was $19,620 or less. The
benefit will be reduced by
five per cent of any in-
come above this amount.
The Child Tax Credit
was designed to
redistribute social
benefits by directing
more help to lower in-
come families. This year
the claim form for the
Child Tax Credit will be
included as 'part of the
1979 Income Tax Return
package.
Persons experiencing
difficulty completing the
form should contact the
nearest Income Tax
Office.

Deputy Reeve Ernie
Brown, the town saved
$5,000 on the construction
of the King Street sewers.
Deputy Reeve Brown
said the money was saved
in labor .since the town's
public works department
did the work themselves.
Council is reminding
people in Clinton that
overnight- parking on
town -streets and
sidewalks in banned and
the police department
will be ticketing cars who
park illegally.
Since the recent
Christmas town party
was such a success,
council has already
begun making plans for
die 1980 Christmas party.
Although the council will
be finishing their term in
office next November
Reeve Royce Maditulay
assured council that they
would be able to attend
the party and ndted, "Old
touneilltors don't die, they
just dance slower."
