people enjoyed a pot luck
supper.

It was reported that the
next card party will be
held on December 21 and.

Allen, Mrs. Shobbrook
and Kevin and June
Fothergill.
A carol sing song led by
Mrs. Duizer was held
with Barbara Bosman at
the piano. Happy Bir-
thday was then sung for
Bert Shobbrook.
For the evening's
entertainment, the
children of the WI
members put on a special
Christmas program, with
Margaret,— Taylor as
master of ceremonies,
Kelly ,Bosman gav'e a
recitation and a reading
and Brenda Nesbitt
performed a step dance.
A piano solo was played
by Lisa Bosnian and Lori
Bromley gave . a
recitation, Lori and Lisa
then sang a duet and John '
Cartwright gave a special
reading;
Jane and Mary
Anderson performed a
special piano duet and
Mary played two solo
numbers and Supan
Jamieson followed with a
number on the piano. The
Duizer family took part in
the program and Shannon,
sang two songs, Stephen
played two piano solos
and laurel and Lisa
performed a piano duet.
•. Jim Jamieson showed a
special film and then
Santa Claus arrived with
candy for the children.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Shobbrook, Darrell and
Diana spent Sunday for
Christmas with the
Pierre family at the home
of Mrs. Shobbrook's
sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Laidlaw of Blyth.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave
McLeod of Mitchell
visited on Saturday with
her sister, Olive Pen -
found and Elgin and also
visited with their cousin

Helen Lawson opened the
meeting with a reading
and a hymn was sung
with Hattie Wood at the

The minutes of the last
meeting was read by
secretary Dora Shob-

correspondenee included
a ,thank -you ,note from
Gladys Armstrong and
from Pat Burns Pikin for
shower gifts she
received., Carolyn
Armstrong announced
that a Avon Ladies
'Christmas dinner would
be held on December 5.
