Members and friends of
the Bayfield Baptist
Church entered the
Church through the
lovely new doors. A
special thanks goes to the

A. Scout Leaders'
School for the Huron
District was held in the
Bayfield Municipal
Building on Saturday,
December 1st from 7 am
until noon, including
breakfast with a.harn and
cheese souffle baked' on
the spot!
Walter Thomas,
District Commissioner,
was present from
Goderich and Jay
Campbell, Assistant
Commissioner from
Exeter.
Attending the° school
from Bayfield were Scout
and Cub leaders Phil
Gemeinhardt and David
Roy. Carol Fisher of
Bayfield, an experienced
Cub leader was one of the
trainers at the session.
A large table was filled
with an attractive display
of books and pamphlets
intended as aids to those
in charge of the Scout and
Cub movement.
Euchre club
results
There were nine tables
of euchre played last
Wednesday evening.
Fern Baker held high
ladies' prf4e; Mrs. Albert
Craig held low. Bill Clark

was the winner of the
men's high and Cliff
Utter held the men's low.
Mrs. Vera Gregg was the
winner for lone hands.
The next party will be
held on Wednesday,
December 12th. All are
welcome.

sharing and scattering".
He explained 'the
blessing received when
one gives of his plenty
both materially and
spiritually. God only asks
for a portion of all that
He has given. When we
cheerfully tithe and
spread God's word, God's
blessings pour put.
The 'evening service
was based on the Last
Supper of Jesus with His
disciples, and the mon-
thly Communion service
followed.
Everyone is invited 'to
attend the presentation of
the play "The Gate of the
Inn" tn be presented by
the Young People of the
Churrii, Saturday,
Dec,.-.:mber 8 at 8 p.m. The
kids and their leaders
have worked very hard to
bring this play and
everyone should enjoy it.
