60th anniversary.
The dinner, catered to
by the Londesboro UCW,
also honored the 125
years of the Grand Lodge
of Ontario.
Allen Bosman W.M.
was the master of
ceremonies, welcomed
everyone; and introduced
the Lodge's 'newest
member, Murray Nesbitt
and his wife.
A minute's silence was
held for Peter Brown of
Windsor, who died on
December 17, 1978.
Barbara Bosman was
at the piano for songs and
a cake decorated with the
Masonic colors and
emblem sat on the -head
' table.
R.W. Brother Jim
Neilans toasted the
Grand Lodge and spoke
on the history of the
Hullett Lodge over the
past 52 years.
Present at the evening
were three D.D.G.s,
Brothers Jim Neilans,
William Leiper and Clare
Vincent. Two Grand
Stewards Allen Shaddick
and Bert Shobbrook and
the Grand Chaplain the
Rt. W. Rev. Harold Snell
were also present.
There were four 50 year
members and John
Grainger was the first
W.M. Bruce Shillinglaw
S.W. presented a silver
plate to commemorate
the 60 years. The plate

the congregation on
Sunday morning and the
ushers were Bill Jewitt,
Bob Jamieson and Robert
and Bruce Hunising.

Mission and Services
Fund.

a few remainded the play

Aimwell UCW Unit
buys tree for church
The Aimwell Unit of the
UCW met on November
19 . and the leader,
Fl.orence Cartwright,
opened the meeting.
The roll call was an-
swered by 12 members
and.eight visitors and the
October minutes were
read by the secretary
June Fothergill.
Lori and Scott Jewitt
along with Lisa and Kelly
Bosman sang three
numbers and the
treasurer's report was
given by Kathy
McDougall. Shirley Scott
then gave the Scripture
reading.
It was noted that the
UCW general meeting
would be held in the
church on December 3
and Mrs. McDougall
volunteered to help with.
Neil Cartwright wins
at croutnole tourney
There was a good turn
out on Frdiay night for
the annual Fall Family
Crokinole Party, held at
the church.
The high man was Neil
Cartwright and the high
lady was Joan Shepherd,
Robbie Vincent had the
most 20's for the men and
Cheryl Bromley had the
score for the ladies. The
low man • was John
Cartwright and the low
lady was Crystal Whyte.

The group agreed not to
have a Christmas party,
but decided to hold a
regular meeting on
December 17.
It was moved to buy a
Christmas tree for the
church- and the group
agreed to donate $20 for
the Sunday School's
Christmas party on
December 9.
Ferne Mc.Clure and

charge of the meeting
and Christmas favors for
the Clinton hospital
patients were made.

Lear and Ruth VinCent
Bob Henry of Blyth was elected last Thursday night
to his first term on the board of directors of the
Clinton Community Credit Union, defeating 14 -year
member Jack Reid of Clinton.' Blyth wants Clinton
