Combine flour, salt, cheese and mustard and add to melted butter. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly till cheese is melted. Add beer and egg yolk, mixing well. Continue cooking until smooth •and thick. Turn into chafing dish to keep warm. Cut franks into 1" lengths. Heat them in a skillet. Serve with wooden picks to dip into hot sauce.
