1/2 lb. large uncooked mushiiom s
Remove stems and scoop out around stems.
Saute mushroom caps in batter
Chop up mushroom stemsand pieces
Add:
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
:salt and pepper to ta,;te
1/8tsp. sage 4 ,
1/8 tsp. thyme.
Mix abOe together, should be consistency of
cookie cljur gh,if not add warm water.
a,' sauted mushroom caps and fill to
h`aping with dressing. Add dab of butter to top of
each cap.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and serve
'warm..

SANDWICH LOAF
Fillings:
Combiner
11/2 cup ground, cooked ham with
one-third cup chopped pickle,
1 tbsp. prepared mustard and
1,6 cup mayonnaise
Combine
73/ oz. can salmon, drained, flaked;
one-third cup sliced ripe olives,
salt and pepper and
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Combine -
6 hard -cooked eggs, chopped ;
1 tbsp. chives
2 tbsp. chopped pimento, salt, pepper and
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Combine -
11/2 cup ground cooked chicken
two-thirds cup drained, crushed pineapple
1/ cup chopped green pepper
salt, pepper and
one-third cup mayonnaise
Sandwich Loaf:.
Remove crusts from 16 -inch long loafunsliced
white bread, cut in 5 lengthwise slices. Spread
each with margarine or butter and a filling.
Stack layers; chill. Combine 3.8 oz. pkgs. sof-
tened cream cheese, 1/2 cup mayonnaise; mix
well.
Frost sandwich loaf, reserving 3/ cup mixture
for decorating. Garnish. Chill.

GOURMET CHEESE BALL
2 8 -oz. pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 8 -oz. can crushed pineapple - well drained.
1/4 cup each of green pepper and finely chopped
onion
1 tsp. seasoned salt
one-third cup pecans
Prepare ingredients. Mix and chill. Form into
two balls and roll in chopped nuts. Can be
refrigerated for several weeks.
