President Madelaine opened the meeting with Hints for the Month followed by the Creeds and . the Lord's Prayer. The minutes of the September meeting were read by secretary Roba Lobb and Linda Jones gave the treasurer's report. Fourteen members answered the roll call "How I am preparing for winter." There was some discussion on the course on Indoor Gardening to be held and Phyllis Thompson and • Milena Lobb volunteered to attend. The next meeting will be held at Grace Forbes' home on November 8.
