As It does every year, the first snowfall catches
many motorists with their guards down, and gives
the OPP lots of work, and last Wednseday evening,'
October 17 was no exception as a 7.62 cm (3 inches)
blanketed the area. Although the snow melted in
less than an hour, it caused $2,000 damage to three
cars in an accident just west of Clinton/on Highway
8, Including David Underwood of Seaforth, Bryan
Pearce of Winona, and Calvin Pheil of Stratford.
