The week's activities
began last Monday
evening with the monthly
meeting of the mem-
bership. Although the
attendance could have
been much better, all
members present en-
joyed the lunch -which
follOwed the meeting. ,
Tuesday evening
followed with a Clinton
Lions Club Dinner
meeting. Our Ladies
Auxiliary again excelled,
serving a gourmet's
delight. Wednesday was
another active evening as
the Zone Poppy meeting
was held in our
auditorium with Harold
Black,. Zone Poppy
Chairman in charge. A
lunch was again prepared
for our Zone guests by our
staff members.
Bingo followed on
Thursday evening with
bingo captain Steve
Cooke and his crew of
associate metnbers
takine care of our bingo
guests. Splitting the jack
pot prize of $200 was Alice
Jaickson and Bertha
Gibbs. Another suc-
cessful fund raising
evening for our branch.
Friday night's TGIF
was a special deal for all
who attended as bar
chairman "H a p "
McAlpine donated his
time and taleht in
providing all our patron s
with a tasty feed of "pea
soup". Winning the TGIF
BOX OFFICE OPENS AT 7:30 P.M.

was enjoyable and
danceable but,, un-
fortunately, only six of
the 12 Legions in our Zone
were represented at the
dance. Our Ladies
Auxiliary again served a
deliciously prepared
lunch. Thanks again to
Comrade Annie Sallows
and all the Ladies who
had a hand in the
preparation and serving
of the late lunch,
Our appreciative
thanks also to Steve and
Diane Maguire, Tom and
Marilyn McMahon, and
Bill and Mary Marsh for
taking care of the ticket
selling and bartending
duties. Our thanks also to
entertainment chairman
John Stevely and his wife
who kept the evening
interesting with spot
dances, games and
draws. It was an en-
joyable evening for all
who attended.

men's euchre starts on
October 9th at 8 : 15 p -m so

Legion or Bill Marsh at
