meditation on prayer was

Mrs. Richard Hawley

on how to make the
church more effective in
our society.

Church, Goderich, for the
late Mrs. Helena
(Morris) Weekes of
London. She was 103
years of age.
The late Reverend
R.M. Weekes, her
husband, was the rector
of the Auburn, Blyth and
Belgrave Parishes
several years ago.
Mrs. Weekes'
daughter-in-law and
grandson, Dennis Weekes
and Mrs. Weekes of
London were also
present.
The service was con-
ducted by the Reverend
R.J. Crocker.

Lakes are into their
seasonal decline,
although more slowly
than in past years.

and Erie were 31 and 15
centimetres higher

"It appears we're in for
another year of high lake
levels in 1980," Perrini
said Friday. "Just how
high is anyone's guess,
but whether we have
flooding or not will
