which we received here in

took place on the lawn of
Lumina Resort, Dwight,
a beautiful setting among
the autumn colouritig of
the trees and beside the
lake.

Clinton Nursery School
held its first parent
meeting September 27.
The meeting was well
attended and many fund
raising ideas were
discussed. There will be a
bake sale the first week in
December and also a sale
of recipe books. A raffle
for a gingerbread house
and Raggedy Ann and
Andy dolls will also be
held. The next meeting
will be held October 24,
all parents are urged to
attend.
There is a Red Cross
Blood Donor Clinic to
f take place Thursday,
October -18 from 1:30-4:00
p.m. and 5:30-8: 30 p.m. at
Central Huron Secondary.
School.. The need for
blood is great, please
make a note of this clate.

Two hurt in, crash
Damages totalled
$6,000 and two people
were injured in a three
car crash at the west
limits of Clinton on
September 28, Clinton
police reported,
Aloysius McQuaid, 19,
of Seaforth and Herve J.
DeJordy, .24, of London
was taken to Clinton
hospital with minor in-
juries after the cars they
were driving met with a
parked car, sitting in the
Elm Haven parkin-Va..
The eastbound DeJordy
and McQuaid cars
collided on Huron Street.
The DeJordy car, who
was indicating a left turn
went out of control, •
veered into the Elm
4-H club
learns stitches
The first meeting of the
Clinton III, 4-H
Homemaking Club was
held at the home of Mrs..
P. Sandercock on Sep-
tember' 26.

and the meeting opened
with the pledge and the
election of officers.
The officers for the club

and then overturned.
Damage to the DeJordy
vehicle was set -at $5,000
and damage to the
McQuaid car was $1,060.
A car driven by Phyllis
Helen Szusz, 42, of RR 1,
Blyth received $1,300 in
damages and a second
vehicle driven by Hazel
Feagan, 72, of Goderich •
received $1,500 following
an October 2 accident.
The Szusz vehicle was
southbound on Albert
Street and the Peagan
car was northbound,
making a left turn when
the two collided. .
A September 26- ac-
cident resulted in $750 in
clamagesi4Wo cars.
Clinton police reported
that the Huron Street
accident occurred when a
car driven by Cheryl
Hohner, 29, of Clinton and
a car driven by John
Lorne Webb, 75, of
Goderich collided.
Damage to the Hohner
car was $400 and $350 to
the Webb vehicle.
