Bruce's Warden race on KINCARDINE - Kin- cardine Township Reeve Alvin Thompson an- nounced to county council recently that he would be running for the position as Warden of Bruce County. Reeve Thompson has been a member of county council for nine years and says he hasn't missed one session. He is a member of the council's financial committee and has been instrumental in establishing a county- wide program for senior citizen's housing. Cliff Pegelo, reeve of Brant Township, has also declared his intentions to run for Warden. Reeve Pegelo is finishing his fourth year on county council and has been involved in municipal politics for 12 years The present Warden for Bruce is Art Speer from the village of Tara.
