Sunday services at the
Bayfield Baptist Church
are launching into their
fall program with some
specials to get things off
to a flying start. .These
specials include Rally
Sunday September 23rd
at 10 a.m. with Wally
Rourke, a Gospel
magician, who teaches
Bible truths with the use
of magic.
Then on October 7th
p.m. the newly released
film "Deceived" based
on the Jonestown tragedy
will be shown. Come and
bring your family to all of
these and to the every -
Sunday classes too.
Last Sunday the ser-
vices were well attended
and the Pastor brought
inspiring messages. In
the morning he asked the
aluestion, "How can man
be justified with God?"
the answer being that
only through faith can ,
one be justified, made
clean and pure, never be
'anything we can do for
ourselves.
Special music for both
services was provided by
Miss, Evelyn Schell with
three beautiful solos --
Into the heart of Jesus",
Does Jesus Care?" and
"There's a new song in
my h9rt", which were
appreciated by all.
Evelyn also spoke about
the privileges and joys to
be found working where
the Lord sends one and
knowing it. She has been
with the Canadian
Sunday School Mission in
Quebec for the past 25
years.
