Consider cost per serving, not cost per pound
when buying meat. Ask your A&P butcher for
suggestions on less costly cuts and the number
of servings to expect from 1 pound.
To determine cost per serving:
COST PER = PRICE PER POUND
SERVINGNUMBER OF SERVINGS
PER POUND.
As an example:
35c PER = 1.40 PER POUND
SERVING 4 SERVINGS yPER
POUND.
AYLMER, CHOICE
Tomatoes
Boneless beef: 3-4 servings per pound.
• chuck, blade, round, rump, and
1 sirloin roast.
• flank, sirloin, ribeye and cubed steaks.
• ground beef, beef liver and stewing beef.
Purchase the right meat at the right price.
Ask the man who knows, and pave the way for
great savings on a wide variety of meats.
