of London visited over the
weekend with her
brother-in-law and sister,
Mr. and. Mrs. Jack
Corbett.
Mrs. Peter . L.
,McNaughton, who
recently underwent
surgery in St. Joseph's
Hospital, 4o'ndnn was
able to return to her home
on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Sim
Roobal were guests at the
Tonk-Bylsma wedding on
Friday in the Christian
Reformed Church, -
Clinton, when over 100
guests attended.
Mrs. Kathie McGuckin
of Newmarket visited last
week with her aunt Mrs.
Bert Horton, and also
with her uncle, Mr. Peter
L. McNaughton and with
her aunt, Mrs. Peter L.
McNaughton who was a
patient in St: Joseph's
Hospital, London.
Junior choir sings
Rev. Kenneth Knight
conducted service in
Carmel Presbyterian
Church on Sunday
speaking on "Christian
Citizenship". The junior
choir under the direction
of Mrs. Dorothy Taylor at
the organ sang "God Sees
The Little Sparrow Fall"
.RonnaLynn Bell took the
soloist part.
Mrs. Grace Peck and
Mrs. Mary McAllister of
Huronview, Clinton were
guests on Thursday with
Mrs. Dorothy Mickle and
attended the
smorgasbord luncheon
and meeting of Unit IV
UCW at Hensall United
Church.
The fancily of Mr. Peter
L. McNaughton surprised
him on Thursday Sep-
tember 6th on the oc-
casion of his 84th bir-
thday. They enjoyed a
social evening as well as
the "Birthday Cake" and
treats.
Charles Mickle,
Hamilton spent the
weekend with his mother,
Mrs. Laird Mickle and on
Sunday Mrs. Mickle,
Charles, , Mrs. Florence
Joynt, and Mr. and Mrs.
William Mickle and John
of Exeter joined the rest
of the Mickle family for a
Smorgasbord birthday
dinner in honour of their
mother -at the home of her
daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Brian
Collins and family An
Waterloo.
Native of
Hensall dies
Mary Ellen (Priest
McEwen) of' 5 Briscoe
street west, London
passed away at Mason
Villa Hospital, London,
on Thursday September
6th in her 78th year.
Wife of the late William
James Cook, she is
survived by Norrie
McEwen of Goderich,
Ewen McEwen, Mrs. Ray
(Mina) Geere, and Mrs.
Adna Smith all of London.
Three grandchildren also
survive.
Funeral service was
conducted by Rev. E.J.
Humphrey of -the Church
of the Epiphany, London.
on Monday September
10th from the A. Hillard
George Funeral Home.
Interment in Woodland

Drums Band were
preforming, and also
attended the Military
Tattoo at Edinburgh

Century Scottish
"Jacobean Banquet" at
