After a slide presen- tation, Mrs. Pride was thanked by Mrs. Duizer. For the program, Mrs. Allen showed slides on her trip to B.C. and Alaska and on the Patricia Cruise to Shagway. After the close of the meeting an auction was held with Mrs. Duizer as the auctioneer. Lunch was served by Mrs. Hunking, Ramona Jamieson and June "Jailbirds" seems to be an appropriate term for these two chickens whO awaited their fate in the jail cell at the Clinton Police department last Monday. The chickens, of unknown origin, were found by Rodney Freeman, 10, of RR 4, Clinton who promptly named them Curtis and Charlie and later came back to bail out his feathered friends.
