Mr. Thos. Thompson, an old and
respected resident of the fourth line,
Adelaide, met with a fatal accident on
Sunday evening, He lost his sight some
years ago, and was coming down stairs
when he missed his footing and fell to
the bottom. Assistance was immediate-
ly on hand, but it was found that the
vital spar had fled. Deceased had been
a resident ofthe township for some fifty
years, being aged 74 years, and his ,sud-
dein end has cast quite a gloom over his
many friehds.
