filled with baskets of pink
gladioli, white daisies
and baby's breath for the
July 28 wedding id Allan
Taylor of Brucefield and
Faith Renner of Clinton.
The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor
of Brucefield and the
bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Patricia Garrett of
Clinton and Mr. Percy
Renner of Bayfield.
Rev. Alan Thomas of
Bayfield conducted the
double ring ceremony,
while the bride's gran-
dfather, Rev. Peter
Renner of °Wiarton, said
the wedding vows.
Special music was
supplied by soloist
Treasa Hicknell of
Stratford with Mrs. Mary
Moffatt of Kippen ac-
companying at the organ.
The bride chose a gown..
of imported interlocking
fabric. The dress
featured an empire waist,
pleated skirt and :high
neckline inserted •with
illusion netting and ap-
pliques of venetian lace.
The, gown flowed into a
detachable chapel train
and a picture hat with
organza petal, tulle and
a three-quarter length
veil completed her
special outfit. She carried
a cascade of silk flowers
of deep pink roses, white
lilies and baby's breath.
Attending the bride as
maid of honor was Katie
Walden of RR 1, Bayfield.
She wore a long gown of
pinkinterlocking fabric
with a halter styled
neckline,. empire waist,
pleated skirt and mat-
ching cape. To complete
her outfit the maid of
honor carried a silk
flower bouquet of deep
pink roses, pink daisy
mums and baby's breath.
The bridesmaids were
Vickie Merner of RR 3,
Clinton, Jadkie Tay lor:of
RR 1, Brucefield, a sister
of the• groom and Hope
Renner of Clinton, a
sister of the bride. They
Were dressed in gowns
similarly styled to the one
worn by the maid of
honor.
As. flowergirl, Crystal
Garrett of Clinton, a
sister of the bride, wore a
dress in pink interlocking
material. She wore a halo
on her head, covered with
pink silk daisy mums.
She carried a white lace
basket filled with pink
silk daisy mums: and
baby's breath.
Dana Taylor of Cli.aton,
a niece of the groom,also
as a flower girl, wore a
white eyelet dress and a
halo of white silk daisies
on her head. She carried
the wedding rings on a
white heart shaped satin
pillow.
The best man was
Gerald -Armstrong of RR
i,urich, a cousin of the.
!groom.. Guests were
ushered into the church
by David Kinsman of
Sta'ffa, Marvin Taylor of
Hensall, a brother of the
groom and David Renner
of Bayfield, a brother of
the bride.
Following .,the
ceremony, a reception
was held at the Hensall
Community Centre. For
the occasion the bride's,
mother wore a floor -
length gown with a
pleated skirt in shrimp
colored interlock. • She
wore a corsage of white
and yellow silk rosebuds.
The groom's mother
wore a baby blue and
pink floral colored
polyester street length.

Guests attending •the
wedding came from as
far away as Calgary and
New Norway, Alberta,
Kilworthy, Chatham and
Windsor.
Following a wedding
trip to Niagara Falls and

in Hensall.

the bride was feted at a

French lace and a sun

skirt with an. all pleated
chapel train falling from
back of waistline. Her
headdress was a Juliet

three tier pure silk
illusion veil and trimmed
all around the edge with
matching lace. A bouquet
of pink sweatheart roses,
pink carnations and
baby's breath completed
the bride's outfit.
The matron of honour
was. Debbie MacDonald
of Listowel, friend of the
bride, and the
bridesmaids were Cathy
Mustart of Brucefield,
sister of the bride and
Brenda Atkinson, of
Clinton, sister-in-law of
the groom. They were all
dressed in floor -length
Dusty . rose gowns with
softly pleated skirts.
They carried bouquets of
pink sweetheart •-roses,
pink .carnations and
baby's breath to match
that of the -bride's.

Listowel minister sits on
OECA advisory board
Rev. Ken Ward of the
Lutheran Church in
Listowel has been ap-
pointed to the Ontario
Educational Com-
munications Authority
(OECA).
The Listowel Banner
reported that Rev. Ward
will be working on the
Southwestern Regional
Council and will act as
the OECA's community
spokesman for his three-
year term. With this,
Rev. Ward will be able to
respond directly to local
inquiries and comments
concerning Ontario's
educational television
network, TV Ontario.
The Banner explained
that the 15 member
Southwestern Council is
only one of five unpaid
advisory boards in
Ontario. The boards
inform the authority of
educational needs
