Zurich couple

A most enjoyable
evening was. had at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Schroeder in -Zurich on
Tuesday evening when
relatives from Hensall
area surprised them with
• a family get-together.
During the evening, a gift
was presented for the
new home and a social
hour and refreshments
were served.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Schroeder returned from
their honeYinoon in Los
Vegas and have taken up
residence in Elizabeth
Court Apartments.
Mrs. Edgar Munn
returned home after
spending the weekend
with her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Don Gooding and Miss
Dale Gooding in Parkhill.
Mr. and Mrs. John
Jacobs and children, who
have spent the past
several weeks visiting
with Mr. and Mrs. Dick •
Packham and family,
will return to their home
in Windsor, England this
week.
Mrs. Don Luther,
Rachel and. Adam of St.
John's, Newfoundland
returned to their home
after spending the past
week with Mr. and Mrs.
Eric Luther.
Mr. and Mrs. Elgin,
Johnston \ of London
visited recently with Mr.
and Mrs. Asa Deeves.
Mr. °and Mrs. Jeff
Raeburn left last week to
take up residence in
Coronatia; Alberta where
Jeff has , secured a
position • on the teaching
staff of the school there.

Home welcomes a new
resident, Mrs. Wilds. On
Monday the ladies from
Carmel Presbyterian
Church entertained the
residents with bingo and
passed out treats. Mrs.
Malcolm Dougall then
played the piano -and sang
along with Mrs. Faber
and the residents.
Rev. McDonald held
the church service on
Tuesday'accompanied by
Mrs. Erratt at the piano.
Mrs. Luther and Mrs.
Britton sang a duet. I
Visitor's with Mrs.
Irene Kalbfleisch were
Joan Betteridge, Violet
Bishop, Lorraine Fun -
nen, and Mrs. Pearl
