Vera Gregg gets a deserved pat on the back by Debbie Taylor. Along with the
pat, Vera was stamped, noting that she had gone around the Bayfield bike-a-
thon route one more time. Vera was one of 64 bikers to peddle around the
village 10 times, 20 miles worth, to raise about $3,000 for the new arena. The
only problem that Vera encountered during her run was that she seemed to feel
considerably older each time she stopped to catch her breath at one of the two
check points. (News -Record photo)
