graduated from Lambton
College of Applied Arts
and Technology in Sar-
nia, on Friday, June 8,
receiving a diploma for
secretarial arts with a
medical major. Brenda is
a graduate of Clinton
Public School and of
Central Huron Secondary
School.
Hullett
happenings
Band -choir trip
A tour of four different
schools was planned for
the band and junior choir
on June 7. They started
their tour at Clinton
Public School with a half
hour program that
started at 9:30. Next they
visited Lucknow Public
at 11:15. Here they ate
lunch.
After this it was on to
Brookside Public , for
another program at 1
p.m. To finish off the day-
long tour, they visited
Blyth Public at 2:30.
The pupils returned
greatly exhausted in time
to load the buses.
Kindergarten
kids visit
On Tuesday and
Thursday the 5th and 7th
a number of kindergarten
kids enrolled for 'next
°year, visited this school.
The kids came . in the
ofrernoon' so they would
get an idea of what to
expect next -year-.

We would like to thank
McLeod Fisheries for
donating the fish for
grade 8 science class a
few weeks ago. It was a
great help in learning
about fish.
Field Day
On Friday, June 1,
Hullett held their annual
field day. The students
Lfrom Grades 1-8 took part
in events such as the
track, high jump, triple
jump, standing broad
jump and the ball throw.
The champions at the
end of the day were as
follows:
Six years and under,
girls, Theresa Knox, first
with Tracy Root runner-
up; 6 years and 'under
boys' champion was
Charles Gailutzen, first
and Kevin Gerrit, runner-
up.
In the 7-8 year-old
events, the boys' winner
was Larry Hunking with
Jamie Gibbings runner-
up; the girls' champion in
7-8 year-olds was Susan
Governlock and Tami
Spence came second.
In the 9 -19 -year-olds
events the boys' winner
was Neil Rodgers with
Troy Hoggart runner-up
and the girls' champion
being Connie Hoggart
and Cheryl Bromley
second.
Paul Plunkett was first
in the 1l -year-old boys
and Darryl Plunkett was
second. In l l -year-old
girls, Darlene Galutzen
was champion with
Sandy Carter as runner-
up; Brian Dale was first
with Robert Wilts seconcj
in the 12 -year-old boys
and Pamela Losereit was
first with Laurel Duizer
runner-up for the girls.
Jerry Hoggarth and
Dave Plunkett tied for
first in the 13 -year-olds
and over boys. Annette
Losereit placed first in
the girls with Joanne
Slater runner-up.
We would like to thank
Radford's Garage for the
use of their cultivator and
tractor and Hullett
Township for the use of
their grader to help ger
the track in shape.

the winners and to
everybody who took part.
