Getting around in a wheelchair is not as easy as It
looks, as Clinton Mayor Harold Lobb found out. He
tried an obstacle course at the Spring Fair last
Saturday. The demonstration, set up by ALPHA
Huron and the March of Dimes, showed the dif-
ficulties a handicapped person meets every day.

The Clinton pipe and drum band are part of the
Ontario Massed band, and .proudly marched
through their own town for the first time as part of
the impressive group. Clinton bass drummer Watt

The Kinette Club of Clinton had the best float in the
fair parade, and judging by the picture, they
deserved the credit. Kinsmen member Ron Jewitt

It was hard to tell who was squealing the most, the excited children or the
playful baby pigs. The piglets were only one of the great attractions at Old
McDonald's Farm, set up at the Clinton Fair. Children and adults alike
thoroughly enjoyed watching the babies play with one another and fight for a

At the excellent Jersey Show last Friday at the
Spring Fair, the top two cows were honored. Left to

For the first time in years, the Clinton Lions Club
played a very active part in the Spring Fair, selling
tickets on their $15,000 van to be given away in July,
and running a well-attendecl bingo tent. Here Jack

Mothers had a busy job trying to keep their
youngsters occupied during the large baby show at
the Clinton Fair. Out of 26 entries, the winners in
the six month and under class included, left to right,
first, Jody, daughter of Jim and Jette Mutton,
Blyth; second, Kelly, daughter of Larry and Denise
McCabe, Goderich; third, Myles Joseph, son of
John and Charlene Sutherland, Clinton; fourth,
Gregory, son of Jim and Judy McClarty,
