Dunmore. ) VO Sharon's recipe corner Stuffed Steak 6 cubes steak (4 oz. of each) 8 slices bacon' 3/4 cup minced onion 1/4 cup dried bread crumbs 3 tbsp. ketchup 1 cup beef stock or canned soup 11/2 tbsp. flour 2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Fry bacon and onion until crisp. Drain off fat, then add bread drumbs and ketchup. Rub steak with salt and pepper and put bacon mixture on each steak. Roll and fasten with a toothpick. Put in baking dish. Pour 3/ cup heated stock over it. Cover with foil and bake about 1 hour. Mix remaining stock with flour and stir into gravy in pan. Baste steak with gravy before serving. Orange Jeno 2 (3 oz.) jellos 2 cups boiling water 1/2 cup cold water 1 pint vanilla ice cream 1 cup mandarin oranges drained. Dissolve one jello in one cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water; pour into oblong dish and let set. Cut into cubes when set. Prepare other jello in 1 cup boiling water. Add ice cream and whip. Fold in cubed jello and drained orange; pour into mould. Strawberry jello can be used in place of orange jello and omit oranges. In its place, we will be showing movies, Thursday, March 22 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. This will allow all .,children enough time. to go to the Recreation Centre for their afternoon swim. Huron County Board of Education The Lions Club is holding their Spring Frolic on April 6th at the Vanastra Recreation Centre. Tickets are $10 a couple and music will be by Joe Overholt and the Standbys. Zurich man sentenced for fraud A Zurich area man who went on a fraud and forgery spree was sen- tenced to 18 months in jail in provincial cUurt Thursday. Provincial Judge John Menzies said the most serious charge against Robert Anderson, 32, of RR1 Zurich, was possession of a Lincoln Continental obtained by using a false cheque for $14,233 in Belleville. The other offences included fraudulently obtaining about $1,700 in food and lodging at the Four Seasons Hotel in Belleville, sportswear and merchandise from stores in Belleville and tpys from a hardware store in Hensall, false pretences and uttering forged documents.
