If John Hoogendoorn Sr. of Clinton didn't know how to cook when he arrived at
the Christian Reformed School on Friday night, he surely did when he left.
John, along with other able helpers, cooked hundreds of pancakes, plain and
with raisins and some 150 pounds of sausages for hungry mobs. (News -Record

Summerhill ladies meet
The March meeting of good number of surprise
the Summerhill Ladies parties had been held.

who is proficient in
English and a donation is
to be sent to the Red
Cross.
April 25 is the date set
for the dessert euchre to
be held at the hall at 1:30
and a quilt will be set up

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of -Clinton will, on the 9thday of April,
1979, at the Council Chambers in the Town Hall at the hour of 8:00 in the evening, consider a proposed
By -Law to stop up and close those parts of the original allowances for roads as set out and described
in the attached Schedules, copies of which are attached hereto, and which Schedules are as follows: -
FIRSTLY: Schedule A - Part of Cowper Street
SECONDLY: Schedules B and E - Parts of Erie Street
THIRDLY: Schedules C and D - Parts of Addison Street
FOURTHLY: Schedule F - part of Milton Street
FIFTHLY: Schedule G - Part of Newton Street

After the said road allowances are closed, the Council will forthwith offer the said lands for sale to the
abutting land owners.
