Mrs. Wareing passe§
Mrs. Mary Jane
(Flynn) Wareing of
Hensall passed away at
South Huron Hospital,
Exeter on March 17 in her
73rd year. She was the
wife of the late William
Wareing.
Surviving are sons
Ronald, Hensall; Robert,
RR2 Kippen; Douglas,
Hensall; one daughter
Mrs. Murray (Evelyn)
Traquair, RR2 Kippen;
one brother, Robert
Flynn, Parkhill; one
sister, Mrs. Irene O'Neil,
Hyron Park , ten gran-
dchildren and two great-
grandchildren. She was
predeceased by one
sister.
The funeral service
was held from the Bon-
thron Funeral Home on
Monday March 19 at 2
p.m. with Rev. T. Garnet
Husser officiating.
Interment was in Exeter
Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Donald Dinney, Jim
Taylor, Willis Mollard,
Earl Hamilton, Bill Allen
and Stan Dinney. Flower
hearers were Kevin
Wareing, Jerry Traquair
and Jeff Wareing.
Legion presents trophies
The Hensall Legion
men's shuffleboard
tournament ended on
Wednesday evening with
the presentation of the
trophies followed by a
lunch.
John Taylor and Larry
Ducharme, the
organizers of the tour-
nament, presented the
overall champs Dwight
Consitt and Gary Moir
with the winning trophy.
John Taylor presented
the runners-up Larry
Ducharme and Homer
Campbell with the
trophy. President of the
Legion, Grant McClin-
chey presented the low
score trophy to Garnet
Allan and Howard Smale.
Lunch was served
following the presen-
tations by Mrs. Jim
Taylor, Mrs. Larry
Ducharme, Mrs. John
Taylor and Mrs. George
Dowson.
