On March 5, the Hullett
pupils had an assembly
on Bike Safety. There
was also a test and film
for the pupils. Ccnst.

• answer questions after
the film.
The pupils enjoyed it
very much and learned a
great deal.
Shane movie
Op . Friday, March 9,
the grade 7 class went to
Seaforth Public School to
see the movie "Shane".
The teachers thought it
appropriate because the
pupils were studying
"Shane" in literature.
Each pupil was asked
to bring 50c for ad-
mission. The movie was
enjoyed very much.
School bus safety
On Wednesday, March
7, Constable Wilson came
to our school and talked
about school bus safety.
The assembly was
divided into two parts.
For the first part of the
asser'pbly, each class
separately spent a half
hour in the bus where
Constable Wilson showed
different safety devices
such as an axe, a' first aid
kit and the fire ex-
' tinguisher. He also ex-
plained, where each of
these things should be
placed and used.
In the gym, Constable
Wilson showed a film on
bus safety and also
passed out sheets telling
what to do in an
emergency. The
assembly was very in-
teresting and showed us
what we should do in case
of emergency on a bus.
