And a doctor, called in to treat a prospective bride for nervous tension, advised the family to change the name of her wedding day to "headache day". It's certain that when cus- tom decreed that "some- thing blue" to be included at every wedding, it wasn't in- tended to be the bride. Yet, on what should be the hap- piest day of her life, "Blue" is what many brides feel — to their own consternation, and the bewilderment of family and friends. . Is all this nervous tension and/or headache a neces- sary prelude to the wed- ding? Experts who have re- viewed -some of the causes say no.
