BRIAN THOMPSON You may remember Brian and Jackie (Koene) Thompson as the engaged couple who modelled for last year's bridal supplement to the•Goderich Signal - Star and Clinton News Record. Jackieand Brian have been married for about eight months now having taken their vows at Bayfield United Church on June 23, 1978. They are happily settled in Goderich in a house which they recently bought at 59 4Newgate Street. Brian is employed at the A&P store i -n` the Suncoast Mall and Jackie works part-time as a Registered Nurse at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital. She received her training at Victoria Ho§pital in London. Brian and Jackie have a new addition to their - family --a poodle named Bubbles. Brian enjoys most sports and plays hockey and baseball for some Goderich, teams. Jackie enjoys sewing and drawing and is also a _ plant lover. She is loking forward to remodelling their new home too. Brian is a native of Goderich. Jackie is from Bayfield (she met Brian at a football game in Exeter) but she has grown fond of Goderich. She likes the layout of the town and is happy to be close to the downtown area. Barry Culbert and Sheila Kersey will be married in Windsor on May 5. Barry and Sheila met through mutual friends in ' April. of 1978. They were formally engaged on December 28, 1978 and have been busily planning for their big day since then. Barry, a native of Goderich, recently received his diploma from Fanshawe College in London and works as a machinist at Champion Roads Machinery Company here. Sheila is the manager of the Irene Hill 'clothing store in the Suncoast Mall. The couple will be living in Goderich with their dog Buffy following their marriage. The Goderich Signal -Star and Clinton News Record sincerely appreciate the great assistance that harry and Sheila have been in helping prepare the 1979 Bride's Edition. Some helpful hints to those being married.
