one again for the curling

last Saturday and it was
enjoyed by all par-
ticipants. Overall winner

Seaforth entry skipped by
Ken Moore, with Dar
Bannerman, Ken Smith
and Ray Hutchinson.
Second prize went to the
Lyle Yost rink from
Millbank. The foursome

Hail to Margaret
Dupee! All her hard work
this year is beginning to
pay , off. .Amidst some
very stiff competition
from several eighth
figure girls, Marg cap-
tured third place in her
flight in senior free style.
This placing allowed
her to skate in the finals
for her first time where
she placed fifth. Well
done, Marg !
Congratulations!
Interclub competition
gives us a chance to look
around and watch what
other clubs are doing.
Ideas on skating
techniques, gestures,
costumes, competition
management and
organization can all be
picked up on such a day.
Certainly one item was
noticeable - Brussels'
warm hospitality, not
always recognized in
larger communities.
We may not have made
many points but we
gained a wealth of ex-
perience. -by Audrey
