At the regular meeting
of the Lions Club of
Clinton on Tuesday,
February 13, three new
members were initiated
into the Club.

Despite the very cold
weather, everyone had a
good time and after
tobganning, they

desboro church for hot
dogs and hot chocolate.

The first meeting of the
Londesboro III, 4-1-1 club
was held at Marjorie
Duizer's ' home on
February 12.
The election of officers
was held and those
chosen included:

Trail date set
Kenneth B. Wright of
RR2 Seaforth, a Hullett
Township farmer elected
trial by provincial court
judge when he appeared
in provincial court in
Goderich Monday on a
charge of attempting to
defraud the Ontario Crop
Insurance Commission of
about $4,162.
The trial will be held on
May 7. Wright is accused
of trying to make a
fraudulent 'claim oti his
1978 white bean crop.
