Walter Snary was sponsored by Lion Red Garon and introduced by Lion Davies. Despite the very cold weather, everyone had a good time and after tobganning, they returned to the -Lon- desboro church for hot dogs and hot chocolate. The food was prepared by Mary Peel, Lena Nesbitt and Hattie Wood. Needlecraft classes Marjorie Duizer' and Alice Buchanan attended classes on needlecraft for beginners on February and 20 in Clinton. Anyone interested in learning this craft is asked to contact Mrs. Duizer and 523-4359 or Mrs. Buchanan at 482- 3201. 4-H News The first meeting of the Londesboro III, 4-1-1 club was held at Marjorie Duizer's ' home on February 12. The election of officers was held and those chosen included: president, Kathy Rad- ford; vice president, Jackie Johnston; secretary, Laurel Duizer; press reporter, Helen Kolkman. Fo'r the first meeting 10 members were present, one junior and two leaders. The members included Kathy Radford, Diana Shobbrook, Helen Kolkman, Jackie Johnston, Elizabeth Lawson, Jeanette Johnston, Laurel Duizer, Nancy ''othergill, Mary Lou Anderson. The pre -4 - Her was Lisa Duizer and the leaders are Judy Datema and Mrs. Duizer. Trail date set Kenneth B. Wright of RR2 Seaforth, a Hullett Township farmer elected trial by provincial court judge when he appeared in provincial court in Goderich Monday on a charge of attempting to defraud the Ontario Crop Insurance Commission of about $4,162. The trial will be held on May 7. Wright is accused of trying to make a fraudulent 'claim oti his 1978 white bean crop.
