The hostess for the month was Debbie Burdge and Gayle Pepper gave the in- spirational message. Items of business in- cl"uded the election of officers for 1979. The new executive includes: president, Debbie Bur- dge; vice president, Betty Boss; secretary - treasurer, Gayle Pepper; nursery co-ordinator, Beth Cooper; cards and flowers, Cathy Mustard. The ladies agreed to decorate the church, under the direction of Esther Cantelon, for the Christmas season. Anne Marie McMullen will read the first annual report made by the Sunshine Girls at the general meeting on December 5. A delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Burdge and the meeting was closed by Mrs. Pepper. By Mrs. H.F. Berry Personals Debra Kathleen, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ross was baptized in the Brucefield United Church on November 26. • Rev. R. McMullen and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Ham of Huntsville visited for a few days with Mrs. Alice Ham and Miss M.E. Swan. Mrs. Scott of Seaforth is visiting at the home of Mr. • and Mrs: Arnold Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Elliott of London visited with friends in Brucefield and Bluevale. Mr. and Mrs. John Moffatt and family spent Sunday with Mrs. Mof- fatt's family in Brant- ford. YEM tgR,304, 9T$ P r Ontario news The Listowel ,Banner reported that the town . is being seriously . con- sidered as host com- munity for the March 15 Wintario draw. A team of technicians is expected to arrive soon to assess the town's suitability for telecom- munication. In addition to transmission requirements, the Wintario representatives - will be inspecting local facilities such as the arena, and the high school auditorium. The seating capacity is estimated to be ap- proximately 1,200 in either of these locations. The draw would be held in conjunction with ListoweI's second annual Paddvfest celebrations.
