Unit 3 is in charge of the flowers In the church for November and December. They arranged two large baskets of dried bouquets with the talented aid of Mrs. Haugh. Unit 4 - the "Sunshine Girls" has started up the nursery and were quite pleased with the nursery attendance on Anniversary Sunday. Social Notes Mrs. Wallace Jackson accompanied by her two sisters, enjoyed a holiday in , California, visiting their aunt and uncle. Estella was thoroughly amazed at the beautiful towering palm trees. She brought that warm sunshine last week back with her. We are proud of our youth in this area. Many were lined up for awards, plaques and certificates at the annual 4-H "Awards Night" at Clinton High School. Many in the community attended the benefit dance at Vanastra Rec. Hall for Brian and Linda Wilson who lost their barn with fire in the Spring. Mrs. Alex Townsend had a shocking ex- perience when a large deer (buck) ran into her car as she was driving home in the evening and caused extensive damage to the car. The weather has been so sunny and warm., that the raspberries (not everbearing) are very confused. On Monday the plants were covered with blossom and with a few berries formed. Mrs. Art Alexander is home from the hospital and pleased to hear she is much improved. Stanley curling club Curling will be getting underway in December.
