Mr. Talbot and Mr. VIillson were very proud )f the Hullett teams. Bill Vlillson and Mike Vincent 3oth received first place zonours. Valerie Millson ,Ind Dennis Dolmage both received fifth place. Mr. Talbot was the first :eacher to run the cross- 2ountry course and -eceived fourth place in :he senior boys group. Students council On October 26 the students council held a meeting. At the meeting they decided that a dance would be held on Friday, , October 27 for grades seven and eight students. Also, they agreed on selling hotdogs and ap- ples on October 31 and also to hold a costume parade for the students on that same day. Nurse visits On October 26 and 27, the nurses came to Hullett. The nurses were checking pupil's hearing and eyesight. If they had troubles, their parents could be notified and further examinations could be scheduled. Open house On Thursday 'October 26, an open house was held from 7 - 9:30. This was an opportunity for the parents to see the school. Attending Brucefield United Church Anniversary on Sunday night were Rev. McDonald, his mother Mrs. Carl McDonald, Elsie Shaddick, Edythe Beacom, Laura Lyon and Margaret Good, when Fordwich United Church choir presented the musical presentation "The miracle worker." Remember the W.I. card party this Friday, November 3rd at 8:30 pm. Mrs. Carl McDonald of Atwood spent the weekend with her son Rev. McDonald.
