Marris Bos the newely elected president presided, and both old and new executive were is attendance. The aims and ob- jectives of the C.P.T.A. were explained by past president Seamus Doherty and the new executive were welcomed and thanked for letting their names stand for office. The new executive are: spiritual director, Fr. J. Hardy; president , Marris Bos ; vice president, Carol Kerrigan; secretary, Truce Ten Hay; treasurer, Pat Arm- strory; reporter, Betty Doherty; senior family life rep., Marie Mid- dletor; intermediate rep., Mary Smith; primary rep., Sharon McClenaghan. In business discussed at the meeting, it was decided that the C.P.T.A. purchase an Nativity Scene for the school. It was also decided that -the policy of having the grade. 7 mothers organize and run the graduation exercise, as set up by the previous executive be. continued. A report on the wine and cheese party for the "Meet the teacher night" was given by Marris Bos. This proved to be ,a very successful venture, with 50 people in attendance. The meeting was .ad- journed with a prayer. After which a very nice lunch was served by Mr. Farwell. Golden Radars plan party The Clinton Radars senior sitizen club met on October 4 and although many of those presented had been to the pork barbecue at the Ontario Street Church and had eaten more than they should have, everyone was in good spirits. President Mary Grigg gpened the meeting and a number of business items were discussed, among them, the menu for the Christmas party on December 13. Turkey won out in a close vote and the cherry and lemon pie were also chosen for the menu.., The group expects to entertain the Goderic'h seniors on October 25 at the Clinton Legion. Several new members joined'the club as well but there is still more room available at the card tables. Where else can a person have an evening of fun and games for only 25. cents along with the privilege of eating your own sandwich and quenching your thirst with a cup of tea, coffee or water? Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rowden, Bessie Steep and Muriel Grigg were in charge of the social part of the evening. Mrs. Steep and Mrs. Grigg gave some readings and Elmer Trick played tile piano. A lunch and some games of euchre followed. The euchre winners were: ladies' high, Ester Moffat; men's high, George Glazier; ladies' low, Elda Stevens; men's low, Albert Wright.
